You can call me Twixt or Gwen — I answer to both. I currently live in Waitaha Canterbury, in the South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.

I’ve picked up my first tarot deck and began studying tarot over two decades ago. I started out slowly, and of course, life happened, as it tends to do.

My love of tarot waxed and waned as my time and energy was spent tending to other things — a decade in cooking, and another in marketing and communications. Marriage and motherhood.

It’s only been in the last five years that I’ve considered this a true passion and confidently call myself a dedicated tarotist and intuitive tarot and oracle reader.

I see tarot and oracle decks as tools. A way to access my intuition, my higher self, and that interconnected energy that exists in us all. That knowing that babbles quietly (or sometimes not so quietly) under the surface of my consciousness.

I also use tarot as a way to build community, offer support, and facilitate healing for others.

In these weird, wonderful and wild times, I believe we can use all the support, comfort, and fun where we can find it. Tarot provides insightful, multilayered messages that can be applied to so many of life’s challenges and obstacles — big or small, mundane or magical, individual or collective.

Currently, I’m working towards completing a certificate in spiritual counseling to give me more robust skill set in holding space for the powerful healing messages, memories, and big emotions that many people experience during a tarot and oracle reading. Watch this space for updates.
